Personal Profile:
Dr. Arash Ghajarjazi (Ph.D. Utrecht University, 2021) is a postdoctoral scholar in Persian and Iranian Studies in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Utrecht University. As a Ph.D. candidate, he was a member of the ERC project “The Senses of Islam: A Cultural History of Perception in the Muslim World.” In his current function, he is part of the ERC Advanced Project “Beyond Sharia: The Role of Sufism in Shaping Islam,” led by Prof. Dr. Asghar Seyed-Gohrab.
