Personal Profile:
Eyad Abuali (Ph.D. SOAS, 2017) was part of the SENSIS project as a postdoctoral researcher between 2017 and 2020. While at Utrecht University, he explored the senses in medieval Sufi thought and practice, highlighting how particular sensory regimes are related to the organisation of Sufi communities and medieval identity-making.
